The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) announces the enclosed 2020-21 (FY 2021) final allocation amounts, based on the reduced appropriation for fiscal year 2021 for the Texas College Work-Study (TCWS) program at public and private/independent institutions. The Texas College Work-Study appropriation supports the TCWS, the Work-Study Student Mentorship, and the Texas WORKS Internship Programs. This allocation is specifically for the TCWS Program.

On June 23, 2020, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) issued 10-day allocation data review materials to institutions for the TEXAS Grant program, based on a plan that reduced the 2020-21 biennial appropriations by 5%. Institutions had 10 days to review the data, with the review period ending July 7, 2020. The THECB received institutional feedback regarding the data and adjusted allocation calculations to reflect those comments. Enclosed are the final allocations for fiscal year 2021 for the TEXAS Grant program.

The Net Price Calculator (NPC) Data Memo: The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) is required to provide an accessible tool for estimating the cost of attendance (COA) for full-time entering first-year students attending institutions of higher education in Texas. General rules concerning the uniform standards for the publication of COA information as well as a tool to compute an estimated COA can be found in Title 19, Chapter 21, Subchapter PP, of the Texas Administrative Code.

Financial Aid Database (FAD) Reconciliation Form The FAD report requires institutions to reconcile each applicable state aid program during cycle two and three.

The deadline to submit completed recommendation forms for the 2018-19 (FY 2019) Good Neighbor Scholarship Program is April 13, 2018.

The deadline to submit the FY 2019 Opt-In/Opt-Out survey is April 6, 2018. These programs include the Educational Aide Exemption (EAE), Texas College Work-study (TCWS), Texas College Work-Study (TCWS) Mentorship and Tuition Equalization Grant (TEG).
