The purpose of the Financial Aid Database (FAD) Report is to collect data used by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) to produce an annual statewide Financial Aid Report, determine state aid program allocations, conduct compliance monitoring, and generate additional statewide and institutional reports. The FAD Report provides the state with a means of measuring and analyzing the funding resources available to students attending public and private/independent institutions of higher education in Texas.

The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) is required to provide an accessible tool for estimating the cost of attendance (COA) for full-time entering first-year students attending institutions of higher education in Texas (see Texas Education Code (TEC), Section 61.0777). General rules concerning the uniform standards for the publication of COA information as well as a tool (Net Price Calculator - NPC) to compute an estimated COA can be found in Texas Administrative Code (TAC), Chapter 21, Subchapter PP.

The TEG Engagement Guide was developed by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) to assist auditors during the TEG Program engagement process at Texas Private/Independent institutions. The purpose of the engagement is to confirm that awards are only given to eligible students and that the institution has an adequate system of internal controls to assure adherence to program laws and regulations.
Although all requirements outlined in this guide must be addressed by the auditor, the auditor should use his or her judgment to determine if further matters should be reviewed. This guide is not intended to be an exhaustive reference.

This spreadsheet includes most courses in the Spring 2020 edition of the ACGM. It does not include courses previously removed or courses currently under review and scheduled for deletion. Academic Cooperatives (courses numbered 2289 and 2389), MUAP (applied music), MUEN (music ensembles), PHED/KINE activity and recreational dance courses, and Development Education are also excluded from the list. The spreadsheet includes course titles, descriptions, learning outcomes, semester credit hours, contact hours, and CIP approval codes.
