This memorandum is regarding the Texas Armed Services Scholarship Program (TASSP) overview for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Enclosed are the maximum award amounts for the TEG program for the 2021-22 and 2022-23 year.

The THECB, in collaboration with Financial A id Advisory Committee (FAAC) and Data Collection Sub-Committee, has determined an interim solution to allow the agency and institutions to be compliant with state and federal s tatutes. The solution requires public institutions to create and submit the most recent version (2018-19) of the U.S. Department of Education’s (ED) Net Price Calculator template to the THECB.

Beginning Mar. 3, 2021, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) is now accepting files for the FY 2021 (2020-21) FAD Reporting Cycle One.

As we begin the new calendar year, the Office of Student Financial Aid Programs (SFAP) would like to provide institutions with several resource updates.

Award Amounts for 2021-2022 (FY 2022): Toward EXcellence, Access and Success (TEXAS) Grant and Texas Educational Opportunity Grant (TEOG)

Revised Grant Allocations for FY 2021 (2020-21) Memo

The Bilingual Education Program FY 2021 Biennium Report Memo notifies institutions participating in the Bilingual Education Program during the 2020-21 biennium to submit the Bilingual Education Scholarship Program 2020-21 Biennium Report. The 2020-21 biennium includes the 2019-20 and 2020-21 academic years.

After reviewing the TCWS reallocation requests and the low?level of available funding, the agency has determined there will be no reallocation for the TCWS program for FY 2018.
