The TRUE Pathways Design and Planning Grant provides funding for public two-year community and technical colleges to design and plan a selected career and technical education (CTE) pathway consisting of one or more closely related occupations and associated credentials of value in a high demand field.? Eligible applicants are Texas public junior colleges, public state colleges and public technical institutes. 

The Budget Request Form requires the submission of costs for proposed items pertaining to the?TRUE 2025-27 Grant?program.

Provides details about the selected CTE program(s) that will be the focus of the grant. Proposed CTE program(s) should not duplicate existing postsecondary program offerings unless there is demonstrable unmet local or regional employer demand for an increase in the number of individuals with that credential or skills profile.

Requires applicants to provide targets by CTE Program for numbers of enrolled students, completing students, students retaining employment and students employed over specified periods of time.

Lists specific activities, participants, and targeted completion dates associated with the overall project. It should also reflect the deadlines specified in the Program Calendar in Appendix B of this RFA.
