Nursing Shortage Reduction Program (NSRP) was established to address the ongoing critical shortage of registered nurses in Texas. The program provides financial support to eligible Texas institutions of higher education with professional nursing programs approved by the Texas Board of Nursing. NSRP funds initiatives that increase the enrollment, retention, and graduation of registered nursing students and strengthen the state’s nursing workforce capacity.
