Nursing, Allied Health, and Other Health-Related Education Grant Program Application Form 3 Project Work Plan

The Project Work Plan is the framework for planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the proposed project. It contains the Project Goal Statement and identifies the key components by Project Objectives. If the Applicant is selected for an Award, it is expected that the Project Work Plan will be more fully developed and expanded over the course of the grant period, in conjunction with project reporting requirements (RFA Section 10).

Nursing and Allied Health RFA FY 2025-2027

Request for Applications (RFA) for the 2025-2027 Nursing, Allied Health, and Other Health-Related Education Grant Program (NAHP) are now available online. NAHP was established to provide grant funding to eligible institutions that propose to address the shortage of registered nurses (RN) in Texas by developing or expanding projects that promote innovation in the preparation of initial RN licensure nursing students and of faculty who may teach in initial RN licensure programs.

Nursing Innovation Grant Program - Rider 64 Request for Applications 2025-2027

The Nursing Innovation Grant Program – Rider 64 is established to fund grant projects that support innovation in nursing education programs. 

This Request for Applications (RFA) is to support eligible applicants that intend to develop projects designed to increase clinical site and preceptors, develop pathways in nursing education with stackable credentials from certified nurse aid to a baccalaureate degree in nursing, or with evidence of an existing NIGP grant that will increase clinical faculty.

The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board’s (THECB) Academic and Health Affairs Division is pleased to announce the grant awards for the Emergency and Trauma Care Education Partnership Program (ETEP)-Graduate Nursing Education. ETEP Graduate Nursing Education provides funding support for partnerships between hospitals and graduate professional nursing programs to increase the education and training experiences in emergency and trauma care for registered nurses pursuing graduate-level education.
